Health in Nature is a small ecotherapy group offering a gentle introduction to nature-based mental health support. Each session is a stand-alone experience, offering space to slow down, spend time outdoors and gently explore our relationship with the natural world and mental health. Dates: Tuesday 8th Sept and Tuesday 22nd Sept Time: 1pm - 2:30pm Location: Quedgeley Medical Centre, GL2 4NF (meet up) Duration: 90 minutes Fee: Fully Funded (Free) Who is it for? You might find Health in Nature supportive if you are experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, grief or loss; navigating change or a difficult time; feeling isolated or disconnected; caring for others; or simply feeling the need to slow down and have some space for yourself. You don't need a diagnosis, any previous experience of therapy or to be particularly outdoorsy to join us. What can I expect? Guided by one of our trained therapists, we spend time moving gently through the natural environment. Sessions may include gentle walking, sensory and grounding practices, quiet time, nature-connection activities and opportunities for reflection. There is no expectation to talk about your mental health or share personal experiences. You can take part in whatever way feels comfortable for you.
