Living in Relationship with Nature
Living in Relationship with Nature: 4-6 x 90mins sessions
Life continually invites us to navigate change, loss, growth, uncertainty and belonging. Our Living in Relationship with Nature programmes provide a therapeutic space to explore these experiences within a small, therapist-facilitated group, alongside the natural world.
Each programme focuses on a particular aspect of life and unfolds over six 90-minute sessions. Meeting with the same group over time allows trust, relationships and shared understanding to develop naturally, creating opportunities for deeper therapeutic reflection and meaningful connection.
Through time spent in nature, shared experiences and gentle reflection, participants are invited to deepen their relationship with themselves, with others and with the natural world. As this relationship develops, many people discover new ways of understanding themselves, navigating life's challenges and finding meaning within their own experiences.
Our programmes are informed by person-centred, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practice, recognising that every person's journey is unique. There is never any expectation to share personal experiences unless you choose to, and everyone is encouraged to participate in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful for them.
Participants are invited to choose the six-week programme that feels most relevant to where they are in life. Current and planned programmes include:
-
Finding Meaning Through the Seasons
-
Nature & Grief
-
Nature & Neurodivergence
-
Nature & Pregnancy
-
Nature & Postnatal Wellbeing
-
Nature & Parenthood
-
Nature & Menopause
-
Nature & Identity
Each programme offers a different journey, while sharing the same commitment to fostering a deeper relationship with yourself, others and the natural world.
As places are limited, advance booking is required.
Bring Living in Relationship with Nature to Your Community
Living in Relationship with Nature has been developed to support communities through a range of themed, therapist-facilitated ecotherapy programmes that explore different life experiences while fostering a deeper relationship with yourself, others and the natural world.
If you're a GP surgery, community organisation, school, workplace or local community group and think your community could benefit from a longer-term nature-based mental health programme, we'd love to hear from you.
Each programme is delivered over six therapist-facilitated sessions, allowing trust, relationships and therapeutic reflection to develop over time. Organisations can choose from a range of programmes, including Finding Meaning Through the Seasons, Nature & Grief, Nature & Pregnancy, Nature & Postnatal Wellbeing, Nature & Neurodivergence, alongside other programmes that continue to grow in response to the needs of our communities.
Our programmes are informed by person-centred, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practice, alongside contemporary ecotherapy research, and are adapted collaboratively to meet the needs of the people and communities we support.
Whether you're looking to commission a specific programme or explore which therapeutic journey would best meet the needs of your community, we'd be delighted to work alongside you.
Complete our partnership enquiry form below, and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss how we can support your community.
