Welcome
Low-Cost Counselling in Gloucestershire
At Earth Wisdom, we offer reduced-cost counselling to people across Gloucestershire (e.g Stroud, Gloucester & Cheltenham) who may not otherwise be able to access therapy. As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), our mission is to make mental health support more accessible, inclusive, and affordable - particularly for those facing financial barriers.
Whether you’re on a low income, receiving benefits, or simply unable to pay full therapy fees, our sliding-scale pricing means you can still access professional, compassionate support - with dignity, choice, and flexibility.
Our reduced-cost counselling service is designed to remove financial barriers and ensure professional support is available when it’s most needed.
Accessible, Inclusive and Affordable Therapy
We believe counselling should be for everyone. Everyone deserves a safe, respectful space to feel heard, supported, and cared for - regardless of financial circumstance.
Thanks to grant funding and our dedicated team of practitioners, we provide:
-
One-to-one counselling at reduced rates
-
A clear, income-based pricing model
-
Confidential, tailored sessions to meet individual needs
We welcome referrals from GPs, schools, mental health professionals, social prescribers, community groups, and individuals reaching out directly.
At Earth Wisdom, community care is at the heart of everything we do. Our work continues to grow from conversations with local people, and we’re always listening as we expand and adapt our support.

A Nature-Based Option (if it suits you)
While many clients prefer indoor counselling, we also offer nature-based therapy (ecotherapy) for those drawn to working outdoors. These sessions may take place in woodlands, meadows, or local green spaces, using nature as a grounding and healing element.
Our approach is flexible - you don’t need to be “outdoorsy” to benefit. What matters most is that you feel safe, supported, and able to show up as you are, wherever that may be.
Rooted in Care
As a mental health CIC, Earth Wisdom is committed to:
-
Affordability - transparent, reduced-cost pricing.
-
Inclusivity - welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
-
Community - building connection, trust, and shared support.
A Season of Fruiting & Abundance
Saturday 5th July 2025
-
10am until 1pm
Location: Therapy Rooms Painswick
This is your season of fruiting - a time to recognise all that’s come from your growth. You’ve weathered storms, stayed rooted, and now you’re beginning to see the fruits of your inner work. The confidence growing, the insights blooming, the resilience showing up in quiet, powerful ways. These are your harvests.
In this space, we honour not just the good days, but the whole journey. The setbacks, the strength it took to keep going, and the small, steady ways you’ve changed. You don’t need to be perfect to be proud - you just need to pause, breathe, and notice what’s growing. By recognising your own worth and sharing your story, you help nurture a space where healing and wholeness can truly take root.
What to expect:
This three-hour group session is held outdoors, in a peaceful natural setting. It offers a blend of therapeutic reflection and gentle connection with nature. You can expect:
-
Guided activities to support reflection and self-awareness
-
Time in nature, grounding and connecting at your own pace
-
Gentle group sharing in a supportive, confidential space
-
Creative or expressive elements (e.g. journaling, seasonal rituals, or natural objects)
-
Opportunities to connect with yourself, others, and the season you’re in
No prior experience with ecotherapy is needed - just a willingness to explore and be present.
