Health in Nature - Coney Hill

An opportunity to experience the mental health benefits of spending time in nature.

1 h 30 minSt Oswald's Church

Service Description

Health in Nature is a small ecotherapy group offering a gentle introduction to nature-based mental health support. Each session is a stand-alone experience, offering space to slow down, spend time outdoors and gently explore our relationship with the natural world and mental health. Who is it for? You might find Health in Nature supportive if you are experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, grief or loss; navigating change or a difficult time; feeling isolated or disconnected; caring for others; or simply feeling the need to slow down and have some space for yourself. You don't need a diagnosis, any previous experience of therapy or to be particularly outdoorsy to join us. What can I expect? Guided by one of our trained therapists, we spend time moving gently through the natural environment. Sessions may include gentle walking, sensory and grounding practices, quiet time, nature-connection activities and opportunities for reflection. There is no expectation to talk about your mental health or share personal experiences. You can take part in whatever way feels comfortable for you. Groups are kept small and advance booking is required. If your preferred date is currently full, you are welcome to join our waiting list by emailing info@earthwisdomtherapy.co.uk. You are also very welcome to explore our other groups, workshops and nature-based mental health support groups, which may offer similar opportunities for connection and support.

Cancellation Policy

We know that life can be unpredictable and that sometimes plans need to change. If you’re no longer able to attend, we ask that you let us know at least 48 hours in advance wherever possible. Giving us notice means we can offer your place to someone else who may be waiting, and helps us care for the time, energy and resources that go into creating each session. If something changes at short notice, please still get in touch and let us know. As our funded places are limited, repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may affect future bookings. Thank you for helping us look after these shared spaces so they can remain accessible and sustainable for our wider community.
